Founder’s venture · Interactive website

Make a product idea easier to explain.

A website for custom parts and prototypes needs to help people describe the part they need, understand the scope, and start a useful conversation.

The challenge

People arrive with different starting points: a finished model, a broken part, a sketch, or a prototype question. One undifferentiated contact prompt does little to help them prepare the information relevant to their project.

The role

Website design and development for Benjamin Scott’s own Evolve3D venture. The site presents Evolve3D’s work and archive; the physical projects shown belong to their credited collaborators and original contexts.

The decisions

Let visitors explore the idea.

An interactive enclosure study exposes form, structure and assembly, with size and finish controls. The site explicitly labels the model as an illustrative, physically untested concept.

Separate the starting scopes.

CAD design, fit-check prototypes and printing are explained with deliverables and boundaries. Additional work is scoped before commitment.

Connect exploration to an inquiry.

A guided planner organizes service choice and project details, lets visitors review their brief, and offers direct inquiry submission. Email and phone remain available for people who prefer a conversation.

Show the history behind the offer.

An expanded archive includes museum collaboration, printer development and education, with context and credits rather than unsupported performance claims.

What was delivered

The live website connects interactive product exploration, service scope, project evidence and inquiry preparation in one place. This is a delivered capability, not a claim about measured sales or conversion improvement.

The enclosure demonstration is not a tested product. The museum, education and printer projects are historical work presented by Evolve3D; this case study covers the website.
